In today's society, communication is essential for our interaction with the world around us. However, there are people who face speech or language difficulties, which can limit their ability to express themselves and communicate effectively, which is why we believe combating speech difficulties through AI is key.

In an effort to promote inclusion and guarantee the right to communicate, the IES Severo Ochoa de Elche is developing the LARA project. This project uses the Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a tool to improve the communicative autonomy of people with speech or language disorders. For this reason, the LARA project is revolutionizing the way these people communicate and how barriers are being broken thanks to social innovation.

It should be noted that this project is carried out by the students who are part of this educational institution and other similar ones, such as IES Victoria Kent and IES Gran Vía, who have joined the idea of ​​achieving the same objective: combating the difficulties of speaks. Teralco Group has joined this project by providing knowledge and experience in technology. It will provide visibility, technological training and orientation of the project, since it will allocate the knowledge of certain profiles, with a great background, so that it becomes real, feasible, useful and scalable.

The process is divided into two main segments: the first is responsible for collecting the voices of people who have speech difficulties, while the second uses an AI model trained on those voices to generate corrected audio. This innovative approach allows people to express themselves more clearly and be understood by others.
